Dan Ellingwood

Wildlife Biologist

Dan graduated from the University of Connecticut receiving a B.S. degree in Natural Resources with his studies focused on wildlife conservation, while concurrently serving in the Connecticut Air National Guard. After two seasons of nuisance black bear work in New Hampshire, he went on to earn an M.S. degree in Wildlife and Conservation Biology from the University of New Hampshire studying northern New Hampshire’s declining moose population. In this role, he carried out extensive productivity and mortality monitoring to quantify the causes and rate of population decline. Dan joined White Buffalo in 2018.
